Fade Friday – Tellason Denim

After two decades in the apparel industry, long-time pals Pete Searson & Tony Patella took matters into their own hands and opened Tellason in 2008. The name deriving from a combination of the gent’s surnames, Tellason hails from San Francisco and pays extremely close attention to each garment they produce, particularly their raw denim.  They source only the best American selvedge denim (Cone Mills White Oak raw selvedge from Greensboro, North Carolina), but are sure to never outsource their core competency – they do all their sewing and cutting at homebase in SF.

These guys are true believers in caring for your raw denim the right way too.  They emphasize the importance of careful and minimal washing directly on their site and it’s clearly exhibited in the results.

Even though they were in the midst of a busy week, Pete and Tony were nice enough to send over a few photo’s for our Fade Friday.  Take a look below and let us know what you think in the comments section!
