Historically speaking, raw denim owes its heritage to the world of work-wear. In the past we’ve devoted a couple posts to this matter, and for our most recent giveaway contest we offered up a lovely raw denim apron hand-crafted by Chris at Brown, Deim.
In that same vein, we recently fell in love with yet another article of work-wear. California denim-makers The Stronghold are making amazing aprons from raw selvedge denim. Offered in both a short and long cut, these aprons provide plenty of cover to avoid the worry of getting sawdust and metal shavings (or baking flour) on your everyday raw jeans.
And for all you environmentally-conscious denim heads, the Japanese denim is 100% organic cotton that has undergone a loop-dyeing process to give it that awesome indigo sheen.
