This pair of Samurai S5000GX-M Limited Edition denim were submitted to us by past Fade Friday contributor Andrew Richardson who previously gave us this pair of Flat Head 3001. You can catch up with him on Instagram under the handle: @keepitstreet.
The denim itself is a limited edition piece from a run of 400 by Samurai, who crafted the denim with the idea of “winding of the water” in mind. The threads used are apparently quite irregular and contribute to both the spectacular fade pattern as well as the initial ‘watery’ appearance of the denim.
The denim is dyed in both an indigo, and a lighter blue colour such that the jean will appear to be irregular throughout – a theme Samurai were clearly aiming for with this jean.
