The premium denim shop located in the heart of Amsterdam, Tenue de Nîmes, has recently collaborated with L.A.-based Rogue Territory to produce the Broken Twill denim.
No stranger to the world of collaborations, the brands ensured a number of strong characteristics were built into this pair of denim. In terms of the design, this denim aims for and hits the bulls-eye on the minimalistic aesthetics. I personally love it’s straight to the basics style, hence no over-the-top back pocket designs or any other jarring detailing.
Secondly, its slim-straight fit deserves some serious recognition. A roomy pair with bigger thigh space and a tapered leg from the knee down ultimately completes a well balanced look.
Lastly, it’s most important quality is the broken twill denim used as a tribute to the denim legend Wrangler. Not only is the 14 Oz. broken twill sourced from Cone Mills, but it also contains double needle outer seam; two essential characteristics of the legendary Wrangler jeans. The quite uncommon broken twill weave used in this pair is also complimented with the denim’s bright blue color, a tribute to seventies denim.
