Pure Blue Japan Deep Indigo Jacket – Just Released

Pure Blue Japan has just announced a release for the Deep Indigo denim jacket. We know PBJ for their specialty in indigo dyeing and super slubby denims. Indigo tops are not a novel category for PBJ, but the denim jacket is. With an autumn chill now undeniably present, a denim jacket may be a warm addition to complete your Canadian tux.

The Deep Indigo jacket is a lighter weight, 13oz. denim that is similar to the classic denim on PBJ’s XX-007, 009, and 012 models. In construction, the denim material is woven with both warp and weft yarns dyed in indigo to retain the deep color. The design and details are the classic Type II style, with two breast pockets and the triple-pleated placket.

The Deep Indigo jacket comes once-washed to account for shrinkage and is available on the PBJ website for 27,000 yen or 250.74 USD, but for Japan only. If you would like to purchase through a proxy, visit our essential guide to Japanese denim proxy services.
