Left Field NYC Muleskinner Denim Jackets

If a denim jacket is to be lined, the immediate go-to would be a blanket lining. Left Field NYC has gone outside of the blanket-lined box with the Muleskinner Denim Jacket, their latest release. It’s a Type I style denim jacket that uses a 14 oz. Japanese selvedge denim from Nihon MenpuInstead of using the typical blanket lining, Left Field decided to take a different route by lining the jacket with a heavy 12oz. Japanese twill made of 100% cotton in a red and white plaid pattern.

Though the lining is the biggest detail for this jacket, it’s not without others. As a Type I variant, it’s designed with a single breast pocket, two front hand pockets and pleated front. It uses triple needle construction throughout, making it durable and more resistant to shrinkage. In addition to a selvedge lined placket, the inside of the jacket is constructed with a hidden pocket. The sleeves will also keep your arms toasty since they’ve lined those as well.

Made in the USA, they go for $365 and can be purchased through Left Field’s website.
