Ever pushing the boundaries of denim, Naked & Famous releases their latest version of a traditional Japanese Kimono. Although not the first time a premium brand has produced a modern Kimono, it’s something that fits in with Brandon Svarc’s aesthetic.

N&F’s version is made of a super soft 9 oz. Japanese selvedge denim fabric that’s a mix of cotton and lyocell. The lyocell material already gives the fabric an extremely soft hand, but it’s made even softer since the fabric is also woven in a left-hand twill which generally has a softer hand than a right-hand twill. Light enough for a shirt fabric, and cut with enough room to layer over a shirt, what they’ve dubbed the Kimonoshirt is lined with a red kimono print interior, features a cord closure, and selvedge at the bottom hem.
