Viberg x Standard & Strange Boondocker and Service Boot

With a lineup that includes Kapital, Private White V.C. and Tender, Standard & Strange‘s proverbial roster is not unlike the Dream Team. Most recently, the Oakland-based shop has drafted Canadian bootmakers Viberg to play ball for them.

You can now find the Boondocker online and in their store as well as an entirely custom makeup of the Service Boot. They had the Service Boot built on the 1035 last, which forms a rounder toe box with a little more width than their usual 2030 last. The upper is made of a rich Ebony Latigo leather with a brogued cap-toe and uses a stitch-down construction with Dainite soles.

The Boondocker saw little modification with the only change being the last. All the authentic details are still there including the natural roughout chromexcel leather, raw corded sole, and triple-needle and four-needle stitching. Except, rather than using the usual 2045 last, this Boondocker is built on the 2030 last, giving it a narrower shape.

You can get the Service Boot for $730 and the Boondocker for $700 at the Standard & Strange website.
