Fade of the Day – Benzak Denim Developers BDD-710 (1 year, 3 washes)

The Benzak Denim Developers BDD-710 jean was originally produced during BDD’s second production run which was funded through Kickstarter back in 2013. Now, in 2015, they’re today’s Fade of the Day.

The fabric is based off of a vintage pair of jeans and was produced to emulate the green cast of the original. Founder Lennaert Nijgh wore his pair for a year with three washes and they’ve aged beautifully with that vintage fade he sought from the start. Two wallets and a cell phone have made their impressions through the pockets, biking around Amsterdam have set in the honeycombs, and consistent wearing of a belt have kept the waistband dark. These jeans will certainly continue kicking for some time, so keep us posted, Lennaert.

You can check out the rest of his line, including two new models on his latest production run via Kickstarter.
