The Clarks Desert Boot have been part of the canonical menswear closet for quite some time and has been established as a classic boot. Not to mention, they’re pretty damn durable.
Today’s Fade of the Day, submitted by Peter Hoeft, has been in service nearly 7 years and they’re still going strong. Through hiking, traveling, ranch work, and even formal occasions, these British-born boots have garnered a hard-earned patina and weathered character. And, as a testament to their long-lasting quality, the only repairs he’s needed to do on these have been to the laces which have broken a total of four times throughout its lifetime.
