Workers Brand Summer Delivery – Japanese Maine Vacation Wear

Ever a lens for U.S. fashion history, Japanese brand Workers shines a light on classic American East Coast style.

Their newest releases include a long sleeve madras – nice and lightweight at 3oz., compared to their 5oz. winter version, made with true bleeding madras. This designation means the threads have been colored only using vegetable dyes, and therefore are not colorfast, resulting in the instantly vintage-y, straight-out-of-dad’s-closet look.

Also newly on offer is a summer/winter mashup in the form of a lightweight 100% cotton T-shirt printed with a pattern described as “Snowflake” and reminiscent of the Icelandic or fair isle sweaters necessary for winters on Ivy League campuses.

The Workers “Officer Chinos” take their name and inspiration from the classic US Marine Corps style, and are available in their slim fit as well as their wide straight fit.

Prices range from 6000 – 14000 Yen ($55 – 128 USD). Check out the collection on the Workers website.
