Good fades don’t come easily. Consistent wear and everyday life are the recipe for quality fades like today’s Fade of the Day. Jordan McGuffin of Michigan wore his Gap 1969 Slim Fit Japanese Selvedge jeans as his raw denim of choice for a year straight with just a single soak. The result are fades well-earned and well-deserved of today’s feature.

He says that his recipe included many hardcore concerts mixed with some skateboarding. No doubt the mosh pits were much of the contributing factor. Characteristic of Gap’s raw denim, they’ve stayed fairly dark with mid-level contrast.
