Fade Friday – PRPS P59P03XX01A (4 Years, Unknown Washes, Unknown Soaks)

When you wear your pair of jeans made up of four different cuts of denim for over four years, you’re bound to get some crazy fade results. That’s definitely the case with these PRPS P59P03XX01A‘s, worn and submitted by Sham Eseytama from Malaysia. He walked us through their life of wear, saying how he wore them daily for the first year, but not rigorously, in order to preserve the denim and the indigo.

The next two years were go time with the jeans being worn still very regularly, but for more rugged activities with a monthly wash. By around the four year mark, they were worn less and less, but still held up as one of Sham’s favorite pairs with some really unique fades based off the quality of each denim involved.

Typically, the front of the jean wears faster and more noticeably than the back, but in this case it was reversed from the knee down. Another noteworthy result is the mismatching fades on the back pockets, again due to the various cuts of fabric. Enough fades for you?
