Pherrow’s‘ latest collection of textured Bakapile tops is giving us all sorts of associations. Grimace the McDonald’s character, Austin Powers’ shag rug, Barbie’s Dream House-era Ken doll tennis outfit… whatever direction your mind goes, we have a feeling that’s part of the allure: getting enveloped in an experience. The closest descriptor we can come up with is chenille (which means caterpillar in French, to add to the mind games).

The collection’s styles include a zip front hoodie, a henley, shortsleeved V-necks and polos, as well as shorts. All are 100% cotton and come in a range of natural tones including natural, navy, and brown. Unsurprisingly, we find the dip-dyed indigo versions especially eye-catching.
