Coming our way from Singapore’s Ahmad Ibrahim (@j_kaminari) is a downright mean looking pair of Samurai Jeans for this week’s Fade Friday. He often travels to Osaka, Japan for much-needed RnR, where he also goes hunting for new and interesting denim. After a year of almost daily wear, his fade patterns have reached a whole new level. We love how the honeycombs extend up into the thigh region, and the rear pockets are looking pretty good, too. One has to wonder how he’s managed to get the lap fade to the state that there’s almost no dye remaining.
After just a year of almost daily wear in the Singaporean heat and half a dozen combined soaks and washes, it’s easy to see how these have reached Fade Friday status. We love how the honeycombs extend up into the thigh region and the equal amount of wear on the rear pockets. One has to wonder how he’s managed to wear in the lap area. That’s some serious whiskering with almost no dye in the central region. Overall, a superb looking pair of jeans that will hopefully stay with Ahmad for years to come.
