Back in the olden days, people wore their pants higher and their jackets shorter. The Japanese repro experts have redone their standard Type II denim jacket, but extended the size run up to 44 and added 1.5 inches in length to the waist for their American counterparts at Self Edge.

Don’t worry, all the same details in the hardware are there, as is the brand’s unsanforized denim, so you can still shrink it to your heart’s content, but maybe show a little less midriff.
