Weiss American Issue Field Watch

There has been some controversy recently over certain watches’ Made in USA claims, and their insistence that it’s impossible to produce all the components for an American watch domestically. Well, put those fears to rest, because Weiss Watch Company has just done it.

The Los Angeles brand’s American Issue Field Watch is their first ever watch with all of its component parts and assembly happening within the US borders; the movement, the strap – the whole damn thing. This limited run of 50 watches feature gold-plated manual wind CAL 1003 movements visible through a sapphire back crystal, a milled 316L stainless steel case, and a Horween shell cordovan strap.

Get yourself wound up for $2,500 at Weiss.
