Master of the repro, Mister Freedom, has just released the latest iteration of their popular Workman Shirt from their Sportsman catalog. The Workman Shirt has made an appearance each season since Spring 2015, with the fabric changing each time.

Fall 2016 brings us a 100% cotton, 8.5oz. Gunpowder Tea herringbone twill fabric, old stock and milled in Italy. It’s sulfur-dyed charcoal grey with a hint of green (though, Mister Freedom warns that the green is fleeting), and the fabric has a slightly brushed quality to the surface. Combined with the insta-fades, it’s good choice for those who like their new things to look old, fast. Design details include cotton tonal stitching, side gussets, and amber color corozo wood cat-eye buttons.
