This newly released Type 466 Slad coat from Tender Co. likely won’t appeal to all with its somewhat minimalist look. The boxy and oversized cut does, however, lend itself nicely to layering. Aesthetically speaking, though, there are no overly defined characteristics.

If rugged utilitarianism is what you’re after, then Slad probably hits all the right notes. Of the various fabric options (all of which are unlined), the brown double face cotton/wool blend and indigo denim molleton options are definite standouts.
