We had some solid feedback and comments on Part 1 /2  of “5 Raw Denim Under $100” and it seems that people are still searching for the inexpensive options out there.  To finish off the series, we present to you Part 2 / 2 with five more raw denim under $100.00.  As usual, if you have any additional suggestions, feedback, etc. feel free to leave us a note at in the comment section below.

1. H&M – Approximately $40.00 USD

H&M came out with their take on raw denim in 2007 in three cuts: Sliq (slim fit), Original (straight leg, regular), &Now (skinny, tapered).  We have yet to give these a try but from what we have read and seen, they’re a great snag for the price, but don’t expect them to last long – some say they fell apart after just 6 months!

2. WeSC – Approximately $70.00 USD and up

Swedish skateboarding brand, WeSC (or “We are the Superlative Conspiracy”) has stronger ties to the music industry but in recent years have come out with a few models of raw denim. One such denim that was priced under $100.00 was their Norm Jean – a 15.5 Oz. straight fit raw denim with signature pockets, buttons, and rivets detailing, as well bright yellow leather patch.

3. OBEY – Approximately $74.00 USD

OBEY, led by designer and artist Shepard Fairey, offer the Standard Classic Slim Raw Denim. A slim straight fit with their trademark design on the back patch, there isn’t anything overly fancy about this raw denim – just a good pair of raw denim for an even better price.

4. FRESHJIVE – Approximately $94.00

The “no logo” brand, FRESHJIVE, produces The Fjord Reserve Denim which is quite unique because it is riddled with all sorts of details (e.g. lower back pockets, cinch), and also has a wrinkled and creased finish.

5. Rogue Territory – $180.00 Approximately $99.00

This might be cheating slightly, but Rogue Territory, the L.A. premium handmade selvedge denim producer, sells a pair of Raw Straight Selvedge Denim through Urban Outfitters.  Originally priced at $180.00, it is currently on sale for $99.00 so we thought we ought to include it in the bunch.  Details include 14 Oz. weight, sourced from the Okayama Prefecture, and a hand branded leather patch.   Get it while it’s still available!
