In the market for a new pair of raw denim that stands out from all others? Well, as per usual, the mad scientists over at Naked & Famous have continued to push the envelope with their latest denim release – the SkinnyGuy Multicolor Weft raw denim. Although the denim is a seemingly deep indigo when looked at from a distance, upon closer inspection one will notice specks of yellow, green, blue, red, etc.
We would’ve liked to see a slightly lighter denim used (this model uses a 13 Oz. denim) given summer is in full swing, but this weight pales in comparison to their other denim (see our previous article – “Heavyweight Champ N&F’s 32 Oz. – Coming Fall/Winter 2011“). Above all, however, Naked & Famous has once again been able to produce another truly unique product that is slightly gimmicky but not too over the top as to compromise yet another classic look and feel.
Note that this denim is currently only available at Barneys New York and Barneys COOP, but will be posted on their site stores for Canadian shipping.
