After our post about Burberry Prorsum’s raw denim, I was inspired to feature a hotly discussed high-fashion brand’s raw denim: Dior Homme.
After hunting through a number of forums, I located one of the better documented pairs of Diors around. These highly popular jeans belong to SuperFuture member tragicbliss.
It might just be that I’m a sucker for good photography, but I melt a little bit when I see a pair of nicely photographed jeans. As for these ones, they look a little washed out due to a harsh camera flash, but that’s only minor. (Remember lighting is key for photography, especially for photos of denim!)

In case you were wondering about the “21cm” in the title, it refers to the leg opening/cuff, which Dior uses to classify their fits. For example, the 21cm is said to be a slim-straight cut, similar to the A.P.C. New Standard jeans, and the 19cm is slimmer like A.P.C.’s New Cure jeans. Hedi Slimane, the founder and the designer of Dior Homme from 2001 to 2007, designed the 19cm and 21cm cut.
