On February 1st, 2012, Indonesian denim heads were fortunate to welcome a couple of special guests – Giles and Paula Padmore from Iron Heart UK! The duo came from UK to attend the Iron Heart Party Indonesian Division 2012.
Held in Jakarta, Indonesia, the event was hosted at The Denim Vault, the first authentic distributor of Iron Heart in Indonesia.
As a bit of background, Iron Heart was created by Shinichi Haraki and specializes in heavyweight denim with a motorcycle edge. Although the Japanese label has roots in Tokyo, they also have a UK office that is run by husband and wife, Giles and Paula Padmore; and is charged with the company’s worldwide distribution.
The event itself was very casual with music, beat box performances, beer contest (!), a denim fading exhibition, and really served as more of a meet and greet. Giles and Paula answered each and every single question, and had a signing/photo session afterward. All goodies and merchandise was brought straight from the UK, including an authentic tote bag and t-shirt (unfortunately no jeans).
They also introduced their latest collaboration with The Denim Vault called “IH 555 x TDV“. It is set to be 21 Oz., the slimmest cut Iron Heart has ever produced, and scheduled for release on April 2012; exclusively at The Denim Vault.

Needless to say, the event was a huge success with The Denim Vault owner, Vincent, bringing together more than a hundred denim heads and passionate Iron Heart fanatics.
