Fade Friday – Iron Heart 634 MINI (5 Months, 1 Soak)

This week’s Fade Friday comes to us from our user Megatron1505 of the UK and features a denim model as exclusive as they come – the Iron Heart 634 MINI. Possibly serving as the world’s smallest wearable raw denim jeans, we were very excited to come across these and can’t wait too see the fades progressions.

Given the nature of the denim as well, it’s not hard to understand that these are truly one-of-a-kind – they are the only pair in existence outside of Japan (others produced are display-only). How did Gavin acquire these though? In his words:

Every year Giles and Paula [Padmore] of Iron Heart UK host an invite all party at their home and headquarters, last year me, my wife and my then 5 year old son Tommy attended, as did the owner of Iron Heart Jeans Shinichi Haraki. My son loved Haraki-San, and his companion Ayumi, and spent most of the party with them, and he asked Haraki-San to make him a pair of jeans like his fathers.

True to his word, Haraki-San sent Tommy a pair of jeans that he had previously made for a display in Japan, a “Mini” version of the 634’s made from 21oz denim. I believe that they are the only pair in existence.

Note: Do you have a pair of well-worn denim that you would like to be front and center of our audience? Let us know via [email protected]!
