Move over Naked & Famous, there’s a new player in town when it comes to wacky denim. Despite N&F calling their mixed-twill denim the Frankenstein model, we’re of the belief that today’s jeans are a little more deserving of the title.
Created by Japanese denim label Studio D’Artisan, the D1548 “Triple Crazy” model looks like a denim collection that lost a fight with a sewing machine. Essentially three pairs of jeans sewn into one, the “Triple Crazy” jeans are made of three types of denim: 13.5 oz. left-hand and right-hand twill as well as a 14 oz. broken twill.
Needless to say, these jeans aren’t for everyone. If you’re looking for a pair on this side of the Pacific, you can order them from Tate + Yoko.
