When it comes to denim manufacturing and production, the Japanese labels have long been praised for their upmost attention to detail and unrivalled craftsmanship. Indeed there are others outside of Japan who can’t go unnoticed (looking at you, Roy), but it is companies such as Eternal who truly set the bar.
Evident in its name, Eternal seeks out to produce garments that cherish with time. The “three” numeral in the top left corner of the patch (i.e. three horizontal lines) signifies their core elements – high quality material, sewing, and processing.
The brand recently, and quietly, celebrated their 15th anniversary with the 888 Denim – a limited edition, heavily dyed, 14.5 Oz. selvedge denim modeled after the 811 silhouette. In usual fashion, the 888 has been kept extremely minimal but specially marked to note the momentous occasion.
