The boys from Tenue de Nîmes have done it again. They don’t stop on their journey to make denim even more popular than it is already. And what better to achieve their goal than to launch a new store – a bigger and more comprehensive Tenue de Nîmes. As we covered previously, the new store features a two-and-a-half story, 300 sq. meter exhibition space, based in a monumental building in the busy Haarlemmerstraat in Amsterdam.
The interior is clearly focused on vintage products, heritage and memorabilia. They stock here a big range of brands like RRL, Naked & Famous, Nigel Cabourn, Indigofera, LVC, Acne, and more mixed in with beat up vintage 60’s, 70’s and 80’s pairs of jeans and denim jackets, dead-stock toys, rare magazines, WWII K-1 special editions Dockers, and a ton of other vintage pieces from around the world.
Rene and Menno took advantage of such a great space and dedicated a generous area for women, with a extensive selection of jeans specifically for ladies. Their philosophy is that denim is just for everybody, simple as that. On top of their clothing, Tenue de Nîmes is now offering a selection of Herman Miller and Eames furniture. All of this creates a fantastic experience for both consumers and lovers of vintage Americana.
