Raw denim enthusiasts can often seem obsessed with grinding out the highest contrast fades in the shortest period of time (such as this former pair of Samurai S710XX). But there’s more than one way to skin a cat and many ways to wear in your jeans.
For this week’s Fade Friday, we have a pair that demonstrates the beauty of long term wear yielding low contrast fades. This pair of Ande Whall, from forum user PaleoDenim, have been through the wringer since 2007 and are still going strong.
After so many years and so many washes, they feature prominent vertical falling, a strong greycast fade throughout the denim, and more than a few crotch repairs.
