A Look at the Schott Perfecto Denim Peacoat

A Look at the Schott Perfecto Denim Peacoat

After seeing Ryan Plett, of [You_Have_Broken_the_Internet], post photos of his Schott Perfecto Denim Peacoat, I’ve been seriously considering a denim peacoat as an outerwear option for those in-between temperature periods of the year. It’s not as light as a denim jacket, but it’s not as heavy as a peacoat made of wool; making it the perfect in-between piece.

This denim peacoat from Schott is made from Cone Mills White Oak selvedge denim, and is complete with chambray lining and corduroy pocket bags. It is an investment piece, to be sure, but as with most things Schott, it’s built to last a lifetime. Though few details are provided on the Schott website and the product shots don’t do the coat justice, pictures like Plett‘s really show how beautifully a piece like this can age.
