If you like indigo loss, then this one’s for you. Only the truly dedicated can wear a pair of jeans to the point of fading away every single speck of dye. Today’s wearer, Bill Leach, has worn his pair of Levi’s 501 STF jeans everyday and no indigo molecules are left.
Bill isn’t sure how long ago he picked up these jeans nor how many times he’s washed them, just a lot, a lot a lot. His activities included hiking, bicycling, and fishing near his home at Three Mile Island.
The combs, stacks, and whiskers have long since come and gone, but the denim has held up like a champ. What remains is a pair of jeans that’s white like the thighs of an ultimate frisbee team or the phallus of Moby Dick–blinding.
