It seems like Viberg‘s been releasing a lot of new stuff lately. Though, to be sure, we’re not complaining. Their latest release is a collaboration with 3sixteen and features three new pairs of boots. The first is a re-iteration of the 3sixteen ten year anniversary Decade Collection boots which were originally released in 2013. It’s a 2030 Captoe Service Boot made using a Horween Coffee Chromepak leather instead of the original Olive Chromepak.
The other two boots are done up in a natural tan chromexcel roughout and a black oil tan roughout and form a new version of the Service Boot using VIberg’s 2040 last. Though the material of the uppers is something we’ve seen before, the stacked leather midsole and mini ripple outsole are entirely new.
This drop is a little different since 3sixteen will be releasing the new products in their NYC office showroom, rather than online like they usually do. You’ll be able to see some of the new Goodyear welted goodies in person and you can even meet Viberg’s Creative Director, Brett Viberg, who’ll be chit chatting with people and answering all of your boot questions.
The event is set for Wednesday, July 1 at 12 noon EST at their NYC showroom, 162 Allen Street.
