Brooklyn’s own The Hill-Side released their 2015 summer lookbook. Shot within just a few blocks of their Williamsburg home base, the book features TH-S’s new tops, sneakers, accessories, and quite a bit of their new Made-in-Japan selvedge denim.
Layering may not be the most summer-friendly style here in mid-July, but many of these looks will sustain long into fall–lots of indigo, subtle prints, and muted earth tones. Standouts inlcude their “Endo leaves” print (which you can find on everything from shirts, to ties, to even dinnerware), a go-to-hell jacket mixed with olive, navy, and khaki, and more of their Kaptain Sunshine collab sneaks.
TH-S took a big leap when they expanded from ties, scarves, and pocket squares and into a full line last year. The clothing they’ve produced shows a nuanced synthesis of the brands they stock at retail store Hickoree’s like Tender Co., Burgus Plus, Kapital, and Phigvel while maintaining the fun and unstuffy identity of The Hill-Side.
