Fade of the Day – UES 400T (1 Year, 10 Months, Unknown Washes, 1 Soak)

Today we bring to you the UES 400T from France. Mathieu Lacoste wore these beauties everyday for a year for the SUFU UES 400T contest. If he were able to submit them, they definitely would have been contenders. Because the UES 400T is a shrink-to-fit, they recommend washing before your first wear but Lacoste rebelled and waited 4 months before his first wash. He doesn’t know the exact number of washes over the year, but says that he’s washed them at least once a month. The result, needless to say, is dope. Everyday wear coupled with his washing regiment has formed an overall lighter vintage fade.

The back of these jeans have basically conformed to different shades of white with the slightest blue as an undertone. Although it may look like they’re not defined, these honeycombs are not one to look over. They start high and end almost mid-calf which transitions into what little indigo these jeans have left. Well done.
