If you’re a fan of one man brands and single-needle sewing skills, W.H. Ranch Dungarees should be a brand on your very specific radar. The latest fit in the brand’s lineup is dubbed the R1942 Trail Ryder, a fuller fit that takes its inspiration from cowboys who would wet their whistles at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson, Wyoming. A mid-rise, full seat and knee, this one’s for the lovers of the 40s-era cut.
It’s available in two different fabrics: the Lot 10 (shown above), a 13.75 oz. Nihon Menpu left-hand twill, and the Lot 11, a hearty 17.25 oz. denim from Collect Mills.
As always, construction and details are filled to the brim. Single-needle construction throughout, American-made 10 oz. selvedge drill cloth pocket bags, copper buttons, rivets & burrs, hand-branded hair-on-hide patch, and much more.
Available for $335 at W.H. Ranch Dungarees.
