It takes a lot to break in a pair of Iron Heart‘s. The will to break through a pair of Iron Heart’s is something on a level well into fade glory. This pair of Iron Heart IH- 666-XHS‘s is over 3 years in the fading, and we’re sure that Ruedi Karrer, Jeansus himself, will look favorably upon them.
Nidyasmoro has worn these 25 oz. behemoth blue jeans since September of 2012 and has more than a few stories to tell. He used to wear them to bed and even when he would jog. That’s one way to sweat out some water weight. Rocking out at local concerts was a frequent occurrence, too. Rou Reynolds from rock band Enter Shikari convinced an audience to jump into a pool. He was a part of that same audience and took to the water, turning his jeans into denim anchors. Surprisingly, but thankfully, he made it out alive.
His Iron Heart’s even saved his skin when he took a nasty spill off of a scooter in 2013. He came out alright, though his jeans sustained some (again, thankfully) non-critical injuries at the knees. The knees, however, have since widened due to having absentmindedly left them in the wash for over an hour. The lesson? Don’t play video games when you’re washing your jeans.
Today, these blue devils are several shades lighter with some scrapes, scars, and stories to tell. You can follow Nidyasmoro on Instagram.
