We all want our jeans to fade in a way that is unique to us, but how many of us are wearing jeans made uniquely for us? That’s what reader Willem Bos of Amsterdam has done and the fruits of his labor are today’s Fade of the Day.
Bos had some jeans made to order courtesy of Atelier Tossijn with some Kuroki Mills-loomed denim made using US cotton. Over the past two years, Bos has worn these jeans walking in the Dutch winter, hiking, and cycling. All that riding led to the crotch going, and being repaired, and the knees have been repaired, too.
