Roy Slaper knows denim innovation doesn’t come without some serious hands-on work. After a recent trip to Pakistan to visit Artistic Fabric & Garment Industries, the man and the mill collaborated to develop a series of not-for-sale denim pieces called the Artistic Concept Denim Collection.

Working alongside Henry Wong, Director of Product Development and Marketing at AFGI, Roy‘s new collection is a playful tribute to the potential that Artistic has to offer, and includes both men’s and women’s jeans in non-stretch to super-stretch denim. He has even produced an indigo Judo gi uniform to pay respect to the martial arts.

The collection will be shown at trade shows throughout the year, promoting open-mindedness and fun ideas in the denim community.
