Mister Freedom x Sun Surf Rock ‘n’ Roll Aloha Shirts

A little bit controversial, a little bit rock ‘n’ roll, Mister Freedom teams up with Sun Surf once again for a limited series of Hawai’ian-style shirts. Milled and printed in Japan, the fabric is made of a very fine cotton poplin as opposed to the rayon blends like the real vintage ones. It’s cut into a 50’s style silhouette with short sleeves, corozo buttons, felled seams, and dual chest pockets.

The main feature, however, is the print. It’s based off of an unfinished oil painting and depicts a four-piece combo with three background singers. The challenge was getting the graphic to line up on the front panel. Needless to say, they’ve got that part nailed.

Soon to be released in three color variations, you can read more – a lot more – on the Mister Freedom blog.
