Standing tall, Naked & Famous' (in)famous 32oz. Super Heavyweight Jeans (left: indigo; right: black)

Fans of heavyweight denim most likely heard of Naked & Famous‘ 32oz. record setting jeans when they released back in 2011. While other makers have since used equally heavy denim, they were undeniably the first and pushed the boundaries in the denim industry. If you missed out on your chance to own one of these legendary pairs, now is your time to reconcile. N&F have just released what will be the final run ever of these jeans, the 32oz. Super Heavyweight Jeans in limited quantities and two colors–indigo and black.

“Too heavy to sanforize” isn’t an issue we read about every day, but these jeans made it so. That means after the initial shrinkage soak, the fabric will gain density and subsequently feel even heavier than before. Woven in Okayama with the same yarn used to make sailboat sails, this denim is not only hard to produce but insanely hard to turn into a wearable piece.

They are cut in the brand’s popular Weird Guy fit (mid rise, tapers after the knee), and feature a super heavy 15oz cowhide leather patch to match. Quantities are limited to 100 pairs of indigo and 50 pairs of black, so jump on it before they’re gone for good.

Available for $545-$594 at Naked & Famous.
