Fade of the Day – Léon Denim LD01XX (18 Months, 4 Washes, 2 Soaks)

You’ve heard plenty lately about denim brands popping up in Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia. But what about the Philippines? Enter Léon Denim, the only raw denim brand in the island nation yet. This pair of faded LD01XX‘s comes from the company’s founder, Raul Lejano of Manila. He wore these jeans daily for six months before putting them in a rotation with other jeans. The fades have come in gently, with some sharp whiskers, and overall light blue tone, subtle honeycombs and train tracks, and other little details. What say you: are these jeans fit for the king of the jungle?
