Fade of the Day – The Flat Head 1005 (15 Months, 2 Washes, 2 Soaks)

It’s no secret that we love the wide variety of fade styles we see in our inbox every day because there no two are alike. Imagine the jeans that all of the shops at the mall wish they could create with chemical and sandblasting, sanding, not to mention a whole host of other distressing wear and tear methods. Now take those jeans, throw them out and check out today’s all natural pair of faded glories – a pair of year and three months old The Flat Head 1005‘s sent to us by Carsten Witschel from Germany.

Time plus wear mixed with an occasional wash and soak has made these jeans look like that perfect pair of old faithful’s, soft and comfier than pajama pants. Overall, the fades aren’t super contrasty but the details are all there. Take for example the back pocket arcs and the faded seam of the button fly cover. Better yet, they still have a ton of life left.
