No, those aren’t an angel’s wings gracing the front of this week’s Fade Friday, those are actually heavenly whiskers. This week’s Fade Friday is a heavy, fast-fading pair Naked & Famous Elephant 4s that haven’t even hit the 12-month mark and are well on their way to graildom.

This pair of jeans belongs to Sekti Wira of Indonesia and have simply been worn to his university and in daily life. That’s it. No secret recipe or tricks used to get these fades. Let us instead marvel at the fades together; the aforementioned whiskers have a gentle, wing-like quality to them, like an eagle in flight. Note the lack of stacking and how low they start. The honeycombs pop out like they’re in a 3D movie, and connect perfectly around the knees. The back pockets have faded to reveal their internal structure, and the indigo-on-indigo of the cuff gives the jeans a different look. These jeans have yet to be repaired, but perhaps they’re ready for an early retirement lest they lose their perfection.
