Fade Friday – A.P.C. Petit New Standard (2 Years, 5 Months, 5 Washes)

I know that it has been said before, but there’s just something about a pair of faded A.P.C. denim that we just don’t get tired of seeing. Today’s is brought to you by John Callon from Dayton, Ohio, and his two and a half-year-old Petit New Standards.

John is a man of many passions and wore his jeans as a student, teacher, librarian, musician, and the list goes on, but this pattern of non-stop wear shows in his killer fades. Residing on the slimmer end of the raw denim spectrum, the Petit New Standard’s produce some very tight-knit whiskers and honeycombs, and over the years John has managed to wear through the knees and back pocket.

After losing a few pounds from a switch in diet he had, the folks over at Brooklyn Denim Co. took in the waist a bit so they could continue to be worn, but other than that he has yet to make any repairs and continues to rock them today.
