From Freenote Cloth‘s Trail One collection – a summer capsule inspired in equal parts by the local surf culture and local military history of their SoCal HQ – comes the Standard Issue Boardshort. Constructed with deadstock US military flight jacket nylon and available in a classic olive color, the boardshorts also feature custom corozo buttons at the fly, and a clean finish interior.
Two front side seam pockets and two back patch pockets (that close with snaps and tabs) hold seashells or whatever else one might need in their boardshorts. Stainless steel hardware helps with durability at the front waist tie and the rear pockets. To add a little extra spif, Japanese nylon is used throughout for interior finishing details. And yup, they’re made in the USA.
Available for $160 at Freenote Cloth.
