Heavyweight denim champs Iron Heart never seem to stop creating new jeans. Their willingness to try new fits and fabrics paired with their love of heavy duty construction always gets our attention. Take, for instance, their new IH-666S-PQ “Piqué Blinders” White Jeans.
TV wordplay aside, what makes these jeans impressive is the unique texture of the 14oz. cotton piqué fabric. A close relative to twilled and corded cotton, piqué is a double cloth weave with an enclosed heavy cording weft. Think polo shirt material beefed up and cut into a pair of jeans, and you will be relatively close.
The 666 is Iron Heart’s slimmer cut, and these jeans feature all the standard goodies too like sewn in belt loops, lined back pockets, and IH stamped silver hardware. The nature of the fabric does mean that they lack a self edge, but that never mattered much in the dark streets of early 20th century London anyways.
Available for $295 at Iron Heart.
