W’menswear Fall/Winter 2016 Collection

Female workwear fans rejoice! W’menswear has finally dropped their first line ever of heritage inspired clothing made for women by women and we are liking what we see. Developed by Lauren Yates (you may know her from the Ponytail Journal), this Fall/Winter 2016 collection features a new perspective on some old designs centered around a vintage nautical theme.

Constructed with durable canvas fabric in three colors and featuring brass hardware throughout, these pieces really speak for themselves in the silhouettes. Take the Sail Dress for instance – essentially an oversized pop-over work shirt turned into a dress with sleek and minimal styling. The netting covered pockets on the Gutting Smock and Chore Coat are a tasteful touch of design merging new and old, and pair perfectly with the oversized Fisherlady Pants. And of course, what better way to keep these pants up than with the leather-tabbed Salty Braces. You might be looking like you just stepped off a skipper, but this collection is a huge step forward for women’s heritage wear, and we already can’t wait to see more.

The collection ranges from ฿2,490-฿8,290 (~$71-$237USD) at Onion.
