Vetra Made in France ‘D’ Pocket Chore Coat

At a certain level, every country works, and every country has its own workwear. You’ve most likely seen the purplish “benzo blue” trend of midcentury French pants and chore coats that has swept the vintage scene in the past year.

Well, the OGs of the benzo is a brand called Vetra, and they’ve been making French collars blue since 1927. They’re still around a la Carhartt and Dickies, capitalizing on their brand’s authentic heritage. Their “D” Pocket Chore Coat is made in France to the original company specs, but with slanted hip level pockets so you can get your hands in just a little bit easier.

Very Vetra, you betcha, pick it up for $170 at Gentry.
