Alden x Need Supply Shoto Indy Boot

Based in the heart of New England for over 100 years, Alden bootmakers have well-established themselves at the top of the food chain for high-end men’s footwear. For their latest release, the brand teamed up with East Coast retailer Need Supply Co. to produce what they’ve dubbed the Shoto Indy Boot – a blacked out, wedge-soled wonder rich with subtle detailing and classic Alden vibes. This is the second all black collaborative release we have seen by Alden this month… coincidence? You be the judge.

The uppers are constructed with black dress calf leather with tonal eyelets and a flat black all around welt. In fact, the only thing that isn’t black on the whole boot is the contrast white stitching on the toe, giving it the appearance of a moc toe profile while retaining the sleek, more flat toe box. The true beauty in these boots is the thought that was put into the profile, so you won’t see any fancy stamped branding or frilly features here. While they are proudly made in the USA, the only downside is Alden’s strict limits on domestic shipping, so you might have to pull some strings to get them out of the country.

Available for $590 at Need Supply Co.
