Dehen 1920 Shawl Sweater Coat

It’s often difficult to find fault with a well made classic. Same goes for the Shawl Sweater Coat from knitwear nerds Dehen 1920. The over-sized canvas elbow patches may not be your thing, or perhaps there are a couple too many buttons, but overall this is a great looking garment. We’re sure your grandpa would approve, anyway.

Made in Portland, Oregon, the heavy weight wool sweater follows a vintage six button construction that echoes the brands penchant for heritage-inspired design, and is knit from 100% worsted wool, with all natural Corozo buttons.

It’s a pretty, pretty penny at $395 USD but we have a feeling this one’s worth every cent. Available at Independence.
