Old jeans never die, they just fade into perfection. This week’s Fade Friday is a perfect example of how that’s true. This pair of perfectly faded and torn Iron Heart 301S comes to us from Ben Balana of Los Angeles.
Ben wore these for eight years after first picking them up before his freshman year of college. To get his hands on them, Ben made a road trip to Self-Edge in San Francisco, as they had yet to open a Los Angeles store at the time.
Once he had them, these were the only jeans Ben wore in college. It certainly shows as he picked up lots of wear and many holes and tears in unique places. The back pocket tears are certainly one-of-kind, and both the honeycombs and stacks are mighty impressive. Time to send these boys off to the denim gods.
